OnePlus launches MagSafe compatible battery back
Accessories, News, OnePlusOnePlus has launched the OnePlus 13 in China, and beyond a real IP waterproof rating, the phone also supports wireless charging, and OnePlus is selling cases and accessories that will work with Qi2 and MagSafe-compatible phones.
This means the very sleek OnePlus Magnetic Power bank will work with iPhones and presumably other Android phones with magnetic cases. This battery bank is only 0.8mm at its thinnest point and stores a 5,000mAh battery, which should easily charge most phones. However, it won’t fully power up the OnePlus 13 since that device has a 6,000mAh cell.
The OnePlus battery is also made of aluminum, and OnePlus says it’s so thin that it can easily fit into your wallet when you’re not using it. The device is only available in China for the time being, but hopefully, it will extend to North America once the OnePlus 13 eventually launches here.
The battery is 149 Yuan, which is around $29 CAD, but I expect that if it launches in North America, the price may be a bit higher since there will be shipping involved with getting the battery over here.
